SEWEDA Launches Free Business Basics Lunch & Learn Class Series  

The Southeast Washington Economic Development Association (SEWEDA) is partnering with Walla WallaCommunity College to offer an eight-week series of classes starting June 21. Each of the one-hour BusinessBasics Lunch & Learn classes will cover topics ranging from business plan writing to commercial real estate.Lunch and class materials are provided to attendees at no charge.

“The Business Basics Lunch & Learn series is geared towards those individuals who are just starting to explore theidea of opening their own business,” said Erika Stricker, Executive Director for SEWEDA. “We are very grateful tohave such a stellar group of community leaders and industry experts volunteering their time to provide apractical, high-level overview of information that is perfect for budding entrepreneurs. My hope is the classeswill draw in folks who have had a business idea bouncing around in their mind for a while but don't quite knowwhere to start. That's what SEWEDA is here for, to help connect people with the resources available to them!"

The full Business Basics Lunch & Learn schedule of classes and registration is available on the SEWEDA website. Individuals may register for as few or as many classes as they like, it is not required to attendall eight classes. Each class is limited to 40 individuals.
